My very special guest today has a great ability to  help individuals and organizations turn adversity into an asset. He has spoken to audiences of 1,500+ & mentored veterans as an ambassador with the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program.
Kijuan Amey is a nationally recognized motivational speaker, U.S. Air Force veteran, and founder of Amey Motivation LLC. With over a decade of military service as an In-flight Refuelling Specialist. He now channels his life’s mission into empowering others to rise above adversity.

Driven by his own story of resilience after losing his eyesight in a 2017 motorcycle accident, Kijuan uses his voice and platform to help people transform pain into purpose. His powerful message—“I may have lost my sight, but I did not lose my vision”— inspires audiences from one-on-one sessions to crowds of 1,500.
Kijuan’s journey began in Durham, North Carolina, and evolved through military excellence, artistic expression as a drummer and actor, and now authorship with his empowering  book Don’t Focus on Why Me . From leading roles in the Blinded Veterans Association to amplifying hope on stages nationwide, Kijuan is not just a speaker—he’s a catalyst for   change. 

From the very  start of our communication from email to his pre-interview, Kijuan made a wonderful impression on my life. He embraces integrity in his life. There is great depth to this very talented young man. I am so  blessed to have the great opportunity to interview  & have a meaningful conversation today with him. I am very eager to learn what makes him tic as he has overcome a great barrier in losing his sight yet    he definitely did not lose his vision. Kijuan is going to be one on my most very inspiring guests. He will be my very first interview with a blind person yet I know he has great vision for his life & communication.
