Country Radio Personality of The YEAR

Welcome back to VOICE POWER Season 2 episode 4. My special guest today is multi talented  from ABBOTSFORD BC with 21 years experience in various radio formats. He has appeared on TV & on corporate videos & voiced  radio commercials. Currently  he is the Afternoon drive announcer & Music & Program Director at Country 107.1 FM in Abbotsford BC.  Surprisingly he experienced a pro wrestling match. I am looking forward to hearing about his experience in the ring. He was a sports mascot  earlier in his life. We are going to have a lot to talk about because there is more in his impressive resume as a radio personality. For 10 years in a row Curtis Pope was the  BC COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION On Air Personality Of The Year. Also off stage announcer at the BCCMA Awards show.

Curtis has raced stock cars, played bull poke, acted in music videos, & co hosts the Cummins Real Estate Group radio show/podcast. Early in his radio career he worked with the Legendary Red Robinson on the morning SHOW at CISL AM 650.Then spent 7 years in Prince George BC as the midday announcer & music director at  CJCI and CIRX. Curtis’ current community involvement is very strong & admirable:  For 10 years he was a director of The BC COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION, for 11 months a director of the Abbotsford AgriFair &  since JULY 2010 THE Abbotsford Agrifair Announcer. Curtis was also a director of the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association. It is my genuine pleasure to welcome CURTIS POPE to VOICE POWER.
